Jo Rance is a contemporary artist based in Cambridgeshire, England. Her paintings center around the landscapes and flora that surround us, and it’s our emotive responses to nature that determine the colors Jo uses; interrupted palettes characterize her paintings. Playful narratives present themselves to Jo when she’s working, think trees wearing shadows as cardigans and flowers saying hello to the earth they are planted in.
